Marbled anthracite paper bradel, smooth spine with long title in palladium, untrimmed, cover preserved (modern binding). First edition with cover and title dated 1874. the work had been published in Paris by Lacroix et Verboeckhoven in 1869 but had not been marketed . The edition was bought back almost entirely by the Brussels bookseller Jean-Baptiste Rozez who offered it for sale in 1874 with a reprinted title and a new cover.
