First edition of this famous children's book, illustrated with numerous black compositions in the text and on full page by Ernest Howard Shepard (1879-1976). Copy of the current edition, in its nice publisher's cardboard. The endpapers represent a map. There are 200 numbered copies. A very well preserved copy despite a small nick on the edge of the first cover. Without the very rare dust jacket.
