Mummy mask representing a woman with a golden complexion She is wearing a blue tripartite wig decorated with a falcon with spread wings, a frontal band of rosettes surmounting a oudjat eye and six pearls; the frontal locks are worked in relief. She wears earrings and a necklace in relief. Polychrome and gilded stuccoed canvas. Gaps, slight restorations. Egypt, late Ptolemaic period. Height : 30 cmm Provenance: - Donald Freese Collection, Illinois, acquired in the 1950s probably from the Susette Khayat Gallery, New York.
