Draped from a sculpture in the round representing a goddess, probably Eirene She is dressed in her chiton and peplos which fall in gathers on her hips and whose panels cover the top of her ankles. On her feet, sandals with high soles. She leans on her right leg in a languorous swaying position. The back is soberly sculpted, signifying the folds of the garment. Marble, bronze tenons and moss patches (the statue was exposed in a garden). Broken and glued at the level of the shoulder. Greece, Hellenistic period, 2nd century B.C.
