SHAYKH MUSLIH AL-DIN SA'ADI (d.1292), Complete Works, Kolliyat, Iran, 17th century and later Incomplete manuscript on paper of nineteen lines of text per page in Persian nasta'liq, in black ink. Manuscript in three parts, each introduced by a double-page illuminated sarlow frontispiece with mantling over a gilt cartouche, followed by the text in reserve on a gold background. The first section corresponds to the Golestan, the second dated by a colophon of rajab 1014 H / November 1605, corresponds to the Bustan, the third to the Sermons "Muwa'iz". Owner's stamp on the dated page. Bound in garnet morocco with stamped decoration of a poly-lobed medallion decorated with foliage and flanked by two floral appendages. 25,4 x 15 cm Restorations, late repaints, wear, wetness, stains.
