Portrait of Wazir Sa'ad Ullah Khan, Mughal India, ca. 1800 Pigments and gold on paper depicting a full-length man facing right, a talwar in his left hand, a flower in his right. He is wearing a white turban with golden palm motifs that matches his jama held in place by a wide golden belt with floral decoration. Under the horizon line placed above, an inscription in black ink legending "Sa'ad Ullah Khan". Size of the painting : 21 x 11,7 cm Chips of paint, folds. Sa'ad Ullah Khan (1656), was the last grand vizier of Emperor Shah Jahan from 1545 to his death in 1656.
