Portrait of Wazir Sa'ad Ullah Khan, Mughal India, ca. 1800
Pigments and gold on paper depicting a full-length man facing right, a talwar in his left hand, a flower in his right. He is wearing a white turban with golden palm motifs that matches his jama held in place by a wide golden belt with floral decoration. Under the horizon line placed above, an inscription in black ink legending "Sa'ad Ullah Khan".

Sa'ad Ullah Khan (1656), was the last grand vizier of Emperor Shah Jahan from 1545 to his death in 1656.
