Pair of high vases with two scrolled handles, Tunisia, Nabeul, El-Kharraz workshop, attributed to Hassen el-Kharraz, circa 1920-40 High tapered vases resting on a high pedestal, surmounted by a cylindrical neck finished with a hemmed lip and framed by two straight handles finished in volute. In earthenware with decoration tapering and fusing in several registers of geometric friezes of vertical bands, spindles, chevrons or medallions flowered sheltering yellow flowers in button. The base of the body inscribed in Arabic "El-Kharraz Nabeul" and stamped attributed to Hassen El-Kharraz under the feet. Height: 48 cm Missing on a neck and small chips on the feet.
