Two hadj vases with two handles, Tunisia, Nabeul, El-Kharraz workshop, attributed to Hassen el-Kharraz, circa 1920-40 In earthenware with painted decoration. Vases with two wide handles in wings flanking a curved body surmounted by a cylindrical collar for one, a swollen body on annular pedestal, surmounted by a cylindrical collar with central projection for the other. Decorated for the first, arcatures sheltering a flower, framed by two friezes of colored spindles, for the second of geometric friezes of ocelli, vertical bands, spindles and chevrons. The wings of each vase painted with floral stems. Both inscribed in Arabic at the base of the body "El-Kharraz Nabeul" (and "Tadhkar Nabeul" / "Souvenir de Nabeul" on the first) and stamped under the base attributed to Hassen el-Kharraz. Height: 30 cm and 28,5 cm Minor chips.
