Two hollow dishes ch'qâlâ, Tunisia, Nabeul, workshop De Verclos, 1920-50 Earthenware with painted decoration, hollow dishes on circular pedestal. The large one decorated with seven roundels housing a floral rosette inscribed in an eight-pointed star. The roundels punctuated by floral motifs on the cavet, the ribbed lip and highlighted on the outer wall of floral and geometric friezes. The small one decorated with a starry rosette inscribing a frieze of ocelli taken up on the vault, small waves decorating the rim. Both signed in Arabic: "De Verclos, Qallal al-Qadim, Nabeul" on the outer wall of the large and under the base of the small and "De Verclos Nabeul" under the base of the large. Height: 13,5 ; diameter: 40 cm and Height: 8,5 ; diameter: 27 cm Chips on the large, traces of beads, small jump of enamel on an edge of the small.
