High chianti ewer, Tunisia, Nabeul, first half of the 20th century Spindle-shaped jug on a convex pedestal, the lip pinched and the handle angular. Earthenware decorated with arcatures containing floral motifs, friezes of spindles or vertical stripes on both sides. The handle streaked with brown, the foot decorated with chevrons. Inscription in Arabic on the lower part of the body "Tadhakra Nabeul" / "Souvenir de Nabeul" and stamps "Poterie de Nabeul" and "D. Matteis, Tunis, avenue de France" under the foot.
