Pair of "Queen Ann" flintlock pistols converted... - Lot 14 - Ader
Pair of "Queen Ann" flintlock pistols converted to percussion. Long round barrels, with beads at the muzzles, stamped, numbered and signed "GRIFFIN LONDON" at the barrels. Chests, barrels and bridges out of iron, engraved of foliage. Dogs with flat bodies. Embossed and chased silver trimmings: counter plates, caps and blank thumb pieces decorated with trophies of arms. Carved walnut crossbars at the breech tails. Presented in a later box sheathed in red velvet, shaped, with accessories: key to open the barrels, screwdriver disassembling chimney, bullet mold and powder flask covered with red morocco, with compartment on the bottom. Brass lock, with pump (key missing). 35 x 25 x 10 cmB .E. About 1810 .
