Long flintlock pistol of reward with the Eastern, of strong gauge, 18 mm approximately. Round barrel, with sides to the thunder, chased of foliage scrolls, punched and stamped. Lock signed "Lepage Moutier ARQer à Paris", with flat body and hammer of swan neck with round body. Brass basin with sparkle. Punched silver fittings, with embossed decoration of shells, flowers and foliage. Walnut frame. Long shaft stock. Wooden rod with silver tip. Length : 52,5 cm. B.E. of use (one of the bracelets loosened) . About 1830 / 1840. These pistols were often offered as a reward by King Louis-Philippe to the chiefs of tribes who rallied to France.
