Crest with gadroons, marmoset, headband with grenade, chinstrap with scales lined with leather (later attachment), brass ring. Marmoset puff in red horsehair. Mane in black horsehair. Inside leather cap. Scarlet plume. A.B.E. (Cleaned). - Vest of cuirass in unbleached canvas and scarlet cloth. B.E. Modern reproduction. - Pair of cuirassier epaulets. In scarlet trimmings. Turned in silver wire. Buttons with a grenade. Hooks marked by the manufacturer "EC and FM". A.B.E. Third Republic. - Cuirassier. Made of iron sheet, with brass rivets. Shoulder straps with curb rings, lined with leather, and brass clasps. Leather drawstring (missing one). Markings of "Châtellerault 8bre 1892" (backplate) "May 1886" (breastplate).
