Paris Pair of large covered vases in fine earthenware in the style of Sèvres of baluster form with polychrome decoration of scenes of the coronation and marriage of Napoleon in reserves on a blue background surrounded by gold palms, the neck decorated with an eagle in gold, the foot decorated with the number N between two palms. The holds of the lids in the shape of eagles with spread wings in gilded bronze. They rest on ormolu bases with Egyptian decoration. Apocryphal mark of Sevres: Mre Imple de Sevres in red.
