Service records and letters received by Jules-Alexandre-Auguste Véret (b. 1832 in Cambrai), battalion commander of the Volontaires de la Seine, and commander of the peacekeepers, serving in the auxiliary guard of the Château de la Muette. We note 2 L.S. by General de Susbielle; letters from comrades and orders received during the war of 1870; his letter of nomination in the Legion of Honor signed by General Valée (June 3, 1871).
