LILLE 1782 - 1783 Pair of silver torches and their wicks. The base with nine contours is embossed with a row of leaves on an amatized background as a reminder of the contoured binnacle. The bowl is bordered with rows of nets in recall on the collar. The doucine takes up the motif with sides of the base. The baluster shaft with ribs and sides starts from a laurel knot. The upper part is decorated with a garland of falling leaves. The wicks bear the small hallmark of master goldsmith.
