VALENCIENNES AROUND 1760 - 1770 Tripod silver coffee pot engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a ducal crown. It rests on scrolled feet extended by a curve and a small counter-curve with medallion attachment enhanced by a rat tail. The spout is engraved with a succession of rows of fillets, the hinged lid molded with gadroons, double doucine, is topped by a catch depicting a fruit on a terrace of radiating gadroons. Master goldsmith : Pierre-François DEBARALLE, received in 1757 Stamped under the lid, on the back, on the spout and on the feet of the master goldsmith Condition : old chocolate box, modification to the central seed, (probable change), restoration to a foot at the base of the handle Gross weight : 750 g - height : 26,5 cm
