BAYONNE AROUND 1728 - 1730 Silver coffee pot, plain tripod. It rests on plain hoofed feet extended by a shell applied to the attachment whose contours end in a sphere. The body is engraved with a monogram of interlaced letters surmounted by a crown accompanied by the initials VI, crossed palms and a heart in the center (probably for a union). The hinged lid is bordered with gadroons as a reminder of the attachment of the riveted wooden handle. The double stave of the lid is topped by a seed in plume.
