PARIS 1698 - 1699 AND VERSAILLES FIRST HALF OF THE 18th CENTURY Covered silver bowl. The lid with doucine is enhanced by nets and ends with a mobile ring mounted on a hinge. The ears are of radiating model of degraded sizes simulating a shell. It is engraved with an 18th century figure of intertwined letters in a medallion of leather. Master goldsmith : Antoine BINGANT, received the 13/08/1698 for the lid Master goldsmith : Mathieu II COINY, received in Paris in 1722, reported in Versailles in 1738 for the body and the ears Marks : inside the lid and of the master goldsmith on the ring, on the ears and on the circumference of the body as well as the countermark of Versailles around 1740 (twice) Weight : 612 g - length at the ears : 28,7 cm - height : 7,5 cm
