Extract of the text of intention of the review: "The Acts of the Poets are the organ of the New Literature, and the tribune of a young and ardent movement, the Idealist Action, which sees rallying around him all the friends of the clarity, the sharpness and the enthusiasm in the ideas and in the acts. They will be less a periodical Anthology than a practical organization of struggle and wills, than the very conscience of the poet-party." The Acts of the Poets took over from La Foire aux Chimères (1908). A flyer, inserted in the n° 12 announces: "From now on the Review "Les Actes des Poètes" transformed and enlarged will appear under the title "Le Rythme", monthly illustrated Review giving Poems, Tales, Novels, Chronicles, etc."
