Numerous woodcuts, in black and in colors by Paul Baudier, Jacques Beltrand, Émile Bernard, Émile Boizot, R. Bonfils, P.-E. Colin, Pierre Gusman, J.-E. Laboureur, Auguste Lepère, J. Perrichon, Quillivic, F. Siméon, Amédée Wetter. Complete collection. 3 numbers in 3 issues in 1 vol. in-4 bound, marbled paper cover. Limited edition. One of 200 numbered copies on Arches vellum, this one not numbered but initialed PF. Handwritten notes by Vasseur (1 f.). "Le Nouvel Imagier is a collection where decorative woodcuts are presented in conjunction with typographic type. Each artist in charge of decorating a text, therefore, decided on the choice of typefaces according to the style of his woodcuts and sought to solve the problem of harmonizing these two elements; hence the variety of types employed."
