GEORGES JOUVE (1910-1964) CERAMIST & MATHIEU MATÉGOT (1910-2001) DESIGNER Ashtray on foot (smoking foot), model created around [1951] The foot with triangulated base in green lacquered metal; the grip clissé of rattan. The ashtray with the evocation of a bear paw. Proof in white glazed ceramic with a mesh of very fine gray cracks. Years 1950. A slight restoration to the surface of the enamel at the bottom, a jump of enamel filled on an edge. The ashtray monogrammed A. P. (for Apollo) said to the Alpha on the reverse.
