ATTRIBUTED TO MATHIEU MATÉGOT (1910-2001) Suspended furniture, model to bring closer to the furniture presented at the Salon des Arts Ménagers, Paris, 1955 Wall unit forming a suspended bar. The body in ash veneer opens with a flap and has two niches, one of which is closed on the bottom by a glass shelf. The uprights in (re)painted cream metal receive the cabinet and two additional glass shelves. The flap reveals an interior with two shelves and a drawer. Condition of use, paint on the uprights not original and showing chips, a band of about 8 cm possibly added and not original at the end of the box resting against the wall, scattered stains to the veneer.
