Antoine-Louis Barye (1795-1875) Seated Basset (long hair, head turned to the left) and Seated Basset (short hair, head turned to the right) Two bronze prints with brown patina forming a pendant. Signed " BARYE " on the back of the terrace. They bear the incised numbers "20" and "679", and for one the number written in ink "2412". The print run of the Martin-Barye workshop is extremely small, our examples are early castings by Barbedienne.
