[Alphabets of the characters of the ballet operas]. No address, no place, no date. [France. ca. 1835]. (14.5 x 9 cm). Leporello of (23) stencil-colored plates enhanced with gum arabic: contemporary midnight blue glossy paper boards, plate of the letter Z, Zampa, applied to the first board. Very interesting and attractive primer of the characters of the most famous operas of the years 1835. Full-length characters, lithographed, stenciled in color and enhanced with gum arabic: large black initial at the head of the character and his name at the foot, sometimes accompanied by the title of the opera, which allows us to date this panorama of actors. Le Chalet (1834), La Juive (1835), Il Puritani (1835), Les Deux Reines (1835)... and Zampa (1831), whose character of the gentleman corsair decorates the cover and the letter Z. From Arlequine to Yang, no I, nor W. A few faint freckles and minimal traces of cracking on some gum arabic.
