The anonymous author writes a traditional and Christian primer, the characters depicted are noble, without any mention to the upheavals of the time and the new standards, far from the Terror and the ravages of the revolutionary courts of this year 1793. The diffusion of this work could only be very limited. Only one copy, in the Bibliothèque nationale de France, dated year II [1793-1794], was digitized. The engravings bear the same subjects, but reversed, they are pale naïve copies with no relation to the engravings of this work. In its fragile original booklet with folds on the upper outer corner continuing on the first few leaves and missing on the lower corner without affecting the text. Tear on the last leaf, without missing.
