Unique small edition of an alphabetical bestiary engraved on wood by the artist Jean-Philippe Aubanel, born in 1953 in Lyon.
After his studies at the Beaux-arts of Aix-en-Provence, Paris and Lyon, he will make many trips that will influence his first paintings.
One large initial per page printed on the front, on which is drawn, in white reserve, the animal whose name begins with this letter.
Limited edition of 50 copies on Arches vellum, one of the first 10 with a suite, justified and signed. Four woodcuts of the suite are here put in colors by the painter. N° 10 / 50.
