In-4 oblong (24 x 27,4 cm). (24) pp. : publisher's cardboard, burgundy chagrined paper spine, plates illustrated in colors, a young sailor holding his sailboat (made of a hoof) by a string, on the first plate, two others, seated and reading by lantern light, on the second. Primer dedicated to the terms of marine illustrated with large compositions by the Albigensian painter Théo Bouisset. A black initial per page and its lower case illustrated with all the hierarchy of the navy guys and the different types of ships. The artist placed his sailors on a cylindrical base, like wooden toys, and inscribed their ranks, corresponding, as well as the ship, to the initial of the page. No U, V, W and X, Y on two pages. Uncommon and perfectly preserved alphabet.
