RF 3253. A wax version exhibited in 1885 at the Salon des XX in Brussels. A large plaster cast presented at the Salon de Paris in 1889. In 1890 the French State bought a bronze version, another was placed on the square in Antwerp. Edition of reductions in bronze after 1893.
