Four bowls with floral decoration, Timurid Iran, late 14th - early 15th century Three hemispherical bowls, a fourth truncated on a pedestal, in engobed clay ceramic with engraved or painted decoration in brown-black and cobalt or turquoise under a transparent glaze. On the first, engraved decoration of a central rosette and poly-lobed motifs on the inner wall, turquoise highlights, on the other three, painted decoration, for one of three fruits around a central rosette, for a second of fine leafy stems running along the wall around a central round of leaves, for a third of a four-lobed rosette enhanced with turquoise touches. Diameter: 22.1; 22.7; 23.2 and 22 cm Minor restorations on two pieces, a few chips and small missing pieces. One broken and glued back together.
