Pieces of tableware decorated in the Achaemenid style, Iran, early 20th century Set comprising a campaniform qalyan hookah base with tubular neck, two sugar pots with two volute handles and hinged lids, the smaller with a bud grip, the larger with a floral grip, a miniature teapot with volute handle, curved spout and lid with floral grip, a truncated cone-shaped jug with volute handle and hinged lid with floral grip. In silver with embossed, chased and engraved decoration in the Achaemenid style, mainly animated scenes of characters, some of royal extraction, and some animals. The hookah base comes with a turned wooden mouthpiece of several sections, the mouthpiece fastened with an enameled metal ring. H. hookah base (without mouthpiece): 33.5 cm; H. sugar pots: 6 and 13 cm; H. teapot: 6 cm; H. coffee pot: 10.5 cm; PBT. : 1683 g Perforation and missing base on hookah base, wooden mouthpiece as is, a few traces of oxidation and slight dents throughout.
