Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. Leather-covered handle (slightly missing), watermarked. Chased brass mounting. Two-armed hilt. Quillon curved towards the tip. Curved blade with rounded back, gutter, counter-edge and hollow sides, hallmarked at the heel (oxidation). Leather scabbard with two fittings (composite).
