Henri-Oswald de LA TOUR D'AUVERGNE (1671-1747) prelate, archbishop of Vienne and cardinal. P.S., Paris October 17, 1728; vellum broadside with remnant of cord. As "Grand Provost and Canon of the Cathedral Church of Strasbourg", he invests the children of Pierre Duconte, Surgeon Major of the Royal Hospital of Strasbourg, deceased, with the "direct and male fief" of a "quarter of the dixme in grain, wine and hay in the village of Königsheim", near Sélestat... On verso, Frédéric-Constantin, Prince de La Tour d'Auvergne signs the certificate of oath-taking by Alexandre Duconte.
