Letters patent creating a second market on Thursday of each week in the territory of Sceaux, in response to the intentions of Colbert de Seignelay, who had "built and ediffier on his territory near the great advenue of his chasteau de Seaux, a market composed of several bastimens, hostelleries, stables, sheepfolds, and other places necessary for the holding of fairs and markets"...
Attached is a ruling by the Conseil d'État concerning a petition by butcher merchants regarding the rights they acquired from the heirs of Colbert de Seignelay to cattle entering and leaving the Sceaux market (Sept. 9, 1710, parchment in-4).
