Very rare edition of this collection of poems by Louis de Gonzague Frick, entirely engraved and illustrated by Auguste Brouet. The text reproduces the author's handwriting. Brouet composed eleven free etchings, one of which is full-page, surrounded by remarks forming a veritable historiated frame. This edition is not cited by Dutel, who lists 2 in-8 and one in-4 editions. After 1940, 50 copies were published on Rives wove paper. A complete copy of the thirteen plates, but the justification leaf is missing.
