It is a true profession of faith: "We proclaim that at no time could the 'realistic' interest of France have been to accept defeat in order to buy the victor's clemency, nor to collaborate in enslavement in order to soften its rigors. We proclaim that there is no France without liberty, that there is no Frenchman without democracy, and that it is better to die free than to live a Nazi life." Perfectly preserved copy.
