Signed lower left. 41 x 33 cm It was Waldemar-George who, referring to Fiorio's painting, wrote in a letter to a friend: "I don't consider this artist to be a naive painter. He paints like a Sienese primitive. He has the freshness of perception and the untouched eye of Lorenzetti. He also has their cheerful knowledge.
