The Prodigal Son. 1882. Etching and drypoint. 450 x 351 (title) and 375 x 311 (plates). Wentworth 57 to 61. Complete suite of 4 plates. Very fine proofs on "van gelder" watermarked ivory laid paper, in a vellum folder [693 x 508] illustrated with the title-frontispiece printed in brown. Some light foxing to boards, leaf edges slightly yellowed. Large russet halo in lower left corner of cover subject and tiny edge tears with small loss at left edge at middle fold. Full margins.
