Junyao ceramic dropper, China, Yuan period, 13th - 14th century Shaped like a "lotus bud", it is covered with a thick, slightly crackled turquoise-blue glaze dotted with three small crimson spots. The narrow neck has been elegantly restored with kintsugi gold lacquer. Height: 8.5 cm Provenance : - Former Joanny Peytel collection (1844-1924). - Reputation acquired from Siegried Bing.
