[EKELE]. Manuscript project for a decorative panel on biblical themes. Dutch manuscript on paper and ink drawing. Netherlands, signed, located in Dordrecht and dated 1861 lower left. Small marks in the margins. Project in the style of Levi David Van Gelder (1815-1878). He produced his first micrographic plates in the 1840s, while working as a printer and lithographer in his native Amsterdam. Like Gelder's work, this panel combines tiny Dutch texts with oversized decorative word panels and biblical images.
