LOUIS MAJORELLE (1859-1926) Elegant secretary in exotic wood veneer. The suspended body, resting on four legs linked by a crotch shelf, opens with a central flap featuring a floral motif in precious wood and mother-of-pearl marquetry, four niches and two side drawers. The interior is fitted with two drawers and four pigeonholes, the blotter (re)sheathed in leather. Circa 1920-25. Condition and restorations, the leather of the desk pad not original.
