PARIS 1788 - 1789 Silver pie server pierced with tulip scrolls, twisted gadroons extend the wooden handle ending in a ball. It is engraved with the coat of arms of Charles Olivier de Saint Georges, crowned by a marquis's crown, and is housed in a very damaged rectangular case engraved with: CHARLES OLIVIER de ST GEORGES MARQUIS DE VERAC AMBASSADEUR DE SA MAJESTE TRES CHRETIENNE LE ROY LOUIS XVI A SOLEURE 1789.
