FRENCH SCHOOL, 1788, follower of Jacques LAJOUE The Concert Canvas (probably originally scrolled) Dated at the top in the round arch "17 88". 86 x 113 cm Bears a label on the reverse of the canvas with these recent inscriptions: "Ecole Italienne: orchestre italien / Largeur Hauteur / acheté 280f par Mme Batremeix à Legay père / 1er juillet 1891 qu'il attribuait à Coypel - estimé 150 fr par / Larcher conserv (auteur) du musée de Nancy-en octobre 1906".
