Long embroidered silk theater jacket, China, 20th century The garment has a collar rising to the nape of the neck, wide sleeves and an open front, in red silk embroidered in polychrome and metallic gold silk threads with numerous large butterflies. The edges of the blue silk jacket take the shape of a lingzhi's head in places, and are embroidered in gold thread with bamboos and a geometric frieze, and with a shou sign in small verroteries. Small sewn metal circles embellish the textile. Height: 106 cm Minor accidents.
