Very rare first edition of this text by Gaston Chaissac, published and illustrated with five original woodcuts out of text by the poet, painter and typographer Jean VODAINE (1921-2006). Limited edition of 100 copies on Balkis de Lana. This is a passport copy, justified by the publisher, offered to Monsieur de Beauclaire (?), including a cover painted inside with a repeating decoration by Jean Vodaine and ONE ORIGINAL FULL-PAGE DRAWING IN CHINESE INK AND AQUAREL DEDICACTED AND SIGNED BY GASTON CHAISSAC (1910-1964). A very well preserved copy.
