Original edition of 155 copies, illustrated with 51 black drawings reproduced in the text and 18 original color etchings by CHAS LABORDE (1886-1941). This is the 3rd book in the Rues et Visages series, following Paris (1926) and London (1928), and preceding those devoted to Moscow (1935) and New York (1950). One of 90 copies on Arches vellum, containing the etchings in 2 states, in black and in color. Wear to dust jacket, large flap detached. Label detached from justification leaf. False title leaf browned.
