Very fine edition illustrated with 20 full-page color compositions by Édouard CHIMOT (1880-1959), engraved by Louis Maccard. Precious hors commerce artist's copy on japon, offered to Laurent Horny, bearing this justification in the art director's hand: "Exemplaire de présent hors commerce offert à Monsieur Laurent Horny. Georges Guillot." Enriched with a black suite of illustrations, an erotic plate in two states, and this double dispatch from the artist and Colette: à monsieur Laurent Horny // avec les hommages sympathiques // de l'artiste // Chimot to Monsieur Laurent Horny // in memory of the author // Colette Also included is a reproduction of a drawing by Jean Cocteau pasted on the first leaf after the cover.
