Saint-Tropez, 1982. - In-folio, oblong, 320 x 685. 15 paintings pasted on five cardboard and linen panels, linen folder with painted title on first cover, slipcase. Unique artist's book designed by the painter Jean CORTOT (1925-2018), comprising 15 original paintings measuring 213 x 190 mm, pasted three by three on five cloth-covered cardboard panels. Each of these abstract paintings, in blue tones, represents an atmosphere at different times of day on October 2, 1982 in Saint-Tropez, from 6:40 a.m. to 4:10 a.m. the following day. The title on the front cover and the hours are handwritten in black on blue-painted paper. Some soiling and light wear to the slipcase.
