HEBREW BIBLE - FRANKFURT Later Prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and the Twelve Minors) - נביאים אחרונים, Francfort sur l'Oder, Hartmann, 1595, small in 8° (one vol. of four), 17th century full brown calf, four-ribbed spine decorated with gilt fillets and fleurons, marbled edges, titles in handsome woodcut frames. A fine copy inside of this uncommon edition, especially complete with all blank leaves in each volume (accident and small loss to a headpiece, worn corners, owner's name scratched on the title of the first volume). For Zedner 98, who mentions four parts, this would be a resale of Crato's Wittenberg edition of 1587 with a new title page. A complete copy despite a few loose bound quires.
