[MASCLEF François] Grammatica Hebraica a Punctis aliisque inventis Massorethicis liberata. Paris, Collombat, 1716,4 ff., 497 p.c., 15 pp. n.c. in one vol. in 12 full brown calf, five-nerved spine decorated with gilt fillets and fleurons, red morocco title-piece, red edges. A fine copy of the first edition of this famous grammar, with the handwritten ex libris of "Languet de Sivry" on the title, an engraved bookplate bearing the arms of Nicolas de Richard d'Ivry (1762-1850), mayor of Beaune, with the motto "Virtute non auro", and a long handwritten note by a scholar of the time covering the r° and v° of the flyleaf. The author was a canon of Amiens, and the Languet de Sivry are a noble family from Burgundy.
